This is a simple base recipe for any type of protein ball concoction. You can change the protein powder flavour, change what nuts you put in or different dried fruits. Such a great snack for before or after training.
1 cup of Almond Meal
10 Dates Pitted and Chopped
15 Almonds Chopped
130g Scoop of Protein Powder (I used chocolate powder)
A Dash of Vanilla Essence
Desiccated Coconut for Rolling
Enough Water to Combine
Combine all dry Ingredients in a bowl or food processor then add water slowly until it makes the right consistency to roll into balls. Then roll the balls in coconut
Makes 12-15 balls
6-8g of protein per ball
I would suggest freezing them as they are easier to transport around this way also they stay fresh and last longer.
